Title: Full Body Massage On-line Course and Practical Training

Summary: This course covers the technique for performing a full body massage routine. Theory is delivered online with clear diagrams and audio. Practical training is taught in a one day session. Reception, consultation and aftercare guidance is covered as well as contra-indications to treatment. Photographs and videos ensure this course is both engaging and informative to give you the confidence to perform body massage treatments at a high standard.
Qualification: GTI Award (All modules and examinations are completed online with full online support available. On completion of the course, successful students will receive a GTI certificate in Body Massage.)

Indian Head Massage

Title: Indian Head Massage On-line Course & Practical Training

Summary: This intensive course follows the Habia National Occupational Standards and covers the massage technique for upper back, shoulder, upper arm, neck, scalp and face. It also includes the interesting theory behind Indian Head Massage such as the history of the treatment, principles of marma pressure points and chakras. Anatomy & Physiology, reception, consultation, contra-indications, contra-actions and aftercare advice guidance is also covered in the course. Clear photographs and images ensure this course is both engaging and informative to give you the confidence to perform the treatment effectively using the correct massage techniques. Summary: This course covers useful techniques to professionally complete Crystal Healing treatments. You will be taught the healing properties of a wide range of crystals so that you can confidently recommend certain crystals to clients for use in their daily lives. Intensive Facial Treatment

Title: Intensive Facial Treatment On-line Course and Practical Training

Summary: This course covers the technique for performing a superficial and deep cleanse, tone, steam with hot towels, extract, massage, mask and moisturisation. It also includes very clear anatomy and physiology resources with clear diagrams and voice over. Health and safety guidance is covered as well as skin conditions, skin analysis and advice about different skin types as well as guidance as to which type of product is suitable for use.

Summary: The GTi Waxing Course meets the Habia National Occupational Standards and covers the various types of hair removal, anatomy and physiology, skin disorders and diseases, contra-actions and contra-indications, reception, consultation, ventilation, technique, and aftercare advice as well as covering male waxing. This course teaches everything you need to know about carrying out a professional waxing service on different areas of the body including the legs, bikini line, underarms and facial waxing.

Gel Polish

Title: Gel Polish On-line Course and Practical Training

Summary: Gel Polish treatments are an increasingly popular treatment within the professional Beauty industry. Gel Polish is applied to the client’s nails and then cured using an LED or UV lamp to create a longer lasting nail finish (up to 2/3 weeks). The GTI Gel Polish course covers how to complete gel polish application and demonstrates the correct removal techniques. GTI (Guild Training International) COURSES

GTI courses offer the quickest and most convenient route to becoming qualified. Guild Training International is the training arm of the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists, the UK’s largest trade body and provider of Insurance for the professional Beauty Sector. So with GTI and Gerbera Beauty, you really are training with the Professionals. Our courses at Gerbera Beauty run all year and the practical sessions take place mainly on Saturdays and also in the evenings. The practical sessions are either 1 day or half a day’s intensive training so can be fitted around busy schedules and family commitments.

All our GTI Courses include the GTI Professional Standards course for FREE (this is usually priced at £49 + VAT) for all students to complete if they have not already done so. It is compulsory to complete this before starting any theory module so that you have a clear understanding of what is expected of you as a Beauty Professional. Then upon completion of the online theory modules, you will receive a PDF manual which you can refer back to. All modules and examinations are completed online with full online support available before completing the practical training.
